“Wheels of Resilience” Trauma & Empowerment Workshops

After the October 7 massacre, Menifa adapted our “Personal Dreams” resilience workshops to deliver therapeutic activities to evacuees and others affected by the trauma of war.

Responding quickly to the outbreak of war, Menifa developed new “Wheels of Resilience” workshops for empowerment, mitigation and therapy, utilizing its “Personal Dreams” mobile truck to reach those suffering from trauma and post-traumatic symptoms.

Using our mobile platform and our experience with many sectors of Israeli society, Menifa was able to respond quickly, modifying its workshops and traveling to reach evacuees from the South and North who were residing in hotels all over the country, as well as IDF reserve soldiers and their families.

The Wheels of Resilience workshops use VR headsets, computerized diagnosis methods, escape room activities and other ODT therapeutic activities to offer two stages of relief:

  1. Immediate empowerment workshops on the topics of finding one’s inner strengths and encouraging altruistic behavior as an antidote to stress.
  2. Long-term therapeutic emotional treatment and empowerment processes.

Target audience

Children, youth and families evacuated from the kibbutzim and cities close to the Gaza Strip and from Northern Israel, families of IDF Reserves, professional teams and others affected by the October 7 events and the “Iron Swords” War.
