Menifa Institute – Educator Training Programs & Counseling

The Menifa Institute for training educational professionals was established in 2004, offering courses in therapeutic and educational techniques for supporting children and youth who are struggling with various challenges.

The guiding principle behind all of Menifa’s activities is that appropriate training for education teams can transform them into agents of profound change in how the education system understands the needs of its students, and in the role of the teacher in Israel’s educational institutions. Menifa’s educator training programs offers professional development training that expands teachers’ capacity for understanding their students, and introduces therapeutic techniques to supplement regular educational techniques, for educators who are interested and suitable to adopt this approach.

This therapeutic training includes theoretical and applied sessions aimed at transforming teachers into active and involved educators on a professional and personal level. Menifa empowers them to instigate in-depth interventions that provide both educational-didactic and mental-emotional support – for their students, for other teachers, for parents, and ultimately for their entire school.
