About Etia Dan
Etia Dan is an educator, the founder and executive director of Menifa, and the mother of eleven children. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in biblical studies, history, and education.
In 2004, she established Menifa as a safe haven and supportive framework for young people facing complex life challenges, helping them regain healthy functioning, grow, and reintegrate into normative community life.
“Over the years, I’ve been proud to see how our work has brought about real change, and proud of our graduates, who learned to take responsibility for their lives, grew from their struggles without letting those struggles define them, and returned to healthy, productive lives.”
